The heavy downpour today at Central School, EKWULUOBIA Aguata could not stop the teeming supporters of the APC Anambra South Senatorial bye-election Candidate as it was joy unspeakable as they sighted their beloved choice for Anambra South Senatorial Seat.
Speaking at the well attended event, Dr. Chinyelu (Ogbatuluenyi Amesi) assured the incoming Senator that he will be getting the highest number of votes from Aguata the same support they gave to Ebubechukwuuzo Nnewi, for he is loved and respected immensely by the people of Aguata.
Hon. Engr. Johnbosco Obinna Onukwo (Onwa) unavoidably absent through his representative , Hon. Onyeka Offor, pledged the unalloyed support of Ndị Aguata towards Sir Azuka Okwuosa/APC”s victory on August 16th, 2025.
Speaking to his people, Ndị Aguata , Sir Okwuosa went down memory lane referring to Aguata as one leg of the tripod of the old Anambra – Old Aguata, Old Nnewi and Ihiala, stating that no one can neglect Aguata in any sharing formula in Anambra State; that’s how strong Aguata is.
Going forward, he informed the good people of Aguata that it’s imperative that an APC Candidate should be elected the Senator to enable Anambra South get a majority position in the Senate. He assured them that whatever Sen. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah left unfinished will be adequately addressed for he is going to bring to bear all his political experiences in the Hallowed upper Chambers and ensure that Anambra South’s quota is never lost.
Having worked as former Commissioner of Works in Anambra State, he gave his words to ensure that the era of bad roads in Anambra will be a thing of the past.
For insecurities, Chinyelugo assured that with experience garnered overtime, the insecurities situation in the state will be tackled for infrastructural development cannot thrive in an insecurity bedeviled society.
Lastly, Chinyelugo excitedly thanked the party members, Stakeholders, Support groups and all who defied the rains to accord him a rousing welcome.
