The Anambra South Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sir Azuka Okwuosa, has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Sen. Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, describing him as a political colossus whose legacy continues to inspire the people of Anambra and beyond.

In a commemorative message issued by the Azuka Okwuosa Campaign Organization to mark the one-year remembrance of the senator’s passing, Okwuosa extolled the late Ubah’s unmatched political sagacity and deep connection with the grassroots. He recalled how Ubah’s mantra ‘Gosimkamfunanya’ was not just a slogan but a reflection of the life he led dedicated to service, empowerment, and advocacy for the common man.

“It’s already one year, yet it feels like yesterday when our iroko fell,” Okwuosa said. “He lived a life of purpose and left behind a void in Anambra South and in the hearts of many across Nigeria and the Diaspora.”

Referring to Ubah by his revered titles Ebubechukwuuzo Nnewi and Odenjinji Okwuosa reaffirmed his commitment to carrying forward the unfinished work of the late senator in the National Assembly, pledging to uphold the values and vision Ubah championed.

The statement also emphasized the continuing grief felt across political lines, with the APC, Anambra land, and Nigerians at large still mourning the loss of a man widely respected for his courage, compassion, and contributions to national discourse.

Sir Azuka Okwuosa ended the tribute with a solemn vow: “Rest on, Odenjinji. Your legacy we shall uphold.”

The message was signed on behalf of the Azuka Okwuosa Campaign Organization and released through the Azuka Okwuosa Media team.
