News Central Television is set to collaborate with the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development on strategic initiatives aimed at advancing Nigeria’s aviation sector and showcasing its role in national development.

This was revealed in a statement issued by the station’s Director of Commercial and Communications, Mrs Rosemary Egabor-Afolahan, on Friday, following her courtesy visit to the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, at his office in Abuja.

The meeting focused on potential areas of collaboration, particularly in promoting the aviation sector’s contributions to economic growth and national progress.

“The courtesy visit marks the beginning of a potential partnership aimed at increasing public awareness of aviation development while promoting positive narratives around Nigeria’s infrastructure progress and regional competitiveness,” the statement partly read.

During the meeting, the Minister commended the media organisation’s professionalism and emphasised its role in supporting transparency and aviation reform.

“Keyamo praised News Central TV for its bold editorial direction, fearless journalism, and commitment to highlighting issues that drive Nigeria’s development.

“He underscored the crucial role media partnerships play in fostering transparency, keeping the public informed, and encouraging stakeholder engagement in aviation reforms,” Egabor-Afolahan said.

In a social media post, News Central TV stated that Egabor-Afolahan’s visit was intended to strengthen collaboration and drive positive change through the combined influence of both sectors.

“In a bid to enhance collaboration and drive positive change, our Director of Commercial and Communications, @reaspeaks1, paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, @festuskeyamo70, reinforcing the vital connection between media and Nigeria’s aviation industry,” the post read.
