President Bola Tinubu has restated his administration’s focus on economic revival and poverty alleviation.

Addressing the Ansar-ud-Deen Society’s anniversary in Abeokuta, through Deputy Governor Noimot Salako-Oyedele, Tinubu highlighted the government’s efforts under the “renewed hope agenda.”

“We are focused on reviving the economy, uplifting the poor and restoring confidence in public institutions,” he declared, calling for national unity and compassion.

Tinubu stressed that success depends on partnerships with organizations like Ansar-ud-Deen, which he commended for advancing Islamic education and community welfare. “The society has become a critical pillar of our national fabric,” he noted.

He urged Muslims to embody justice and coexistence, emphasizing the importance of engaging constructively with broader society. The President encouraged the conference to produce actionable ideas for tackling youth and economic challenges.

Dr. Abdulrafiu Sanni, the society’s president, said the event was an opportunity to assess achievements and plan for the future, focusing on youth empowerment, social justice, and unity.
