FC Bayern Sporting Director, Max Eberl, has stated that the proposed loan transfer of Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson to Bayern Munich is currently on hold.

According to a post obtained from Frabrizio Romano’s X on Saturday, Eberl said, “Everyone will now revisit their network and contacts to a certain extent… then we’ll see what’s possible”, told AZ reported.

Although Chelsea has yet to state the reason for the delay, it might not be unconnected to Liam Delap’s injury, prompting the club to reevaluate their attacking options.

The deal, initially structured with a €15 million loan fee and a €56.2 million option to buy, remains uncertain as Chelsea focuses on maintaining squad depth.
